After importing your Salesforce data, you can view the data with mappable addresses on the map. In this post learn how to access the object details window and how to edit your Salesforce data from Sales Navigator.
Accessing Object Details Window
1. Start by tapping on a pin.
2. Tap the object details icon ( ).
Taking Action on Object Details
The contact information in the object details window is meant to be actionable. For example, to call a contact tap the phone or to send an email tap the email icon. By tapping the arrow icon ( ) the address will be exported to Apple Maps where you can get turn-by-turn directions and more. All calls made or emails sent will be automatically logged into Salesforce.
Viewing Object Fields
Scroll down the object details window to view object fields from Salesforce.
Viewing Related Objects
To view object related to the Salesforce record you are viewing, tap the related object icon ( ). Tap ‘Map’ in lower right corner of screen to return to Sales Navigator.
Editing Custom Groups
You can view the custom and automatic groups an object belongs to by scrolling down to the bottom of the object details window. Also, you can easily add or remove an object from a custom groups in Sales Navigator through the object details window. Automatic Salesforce groups are only editable by changing the Salesforce field.
1. Start by tapping the ‘Groups ’ button.
2. Toggle the custom group on or off
Editing Object Details
To edit the object details, open the object details window. In the top right hand corner tap ‘Edit’. You will now be brought to the Salesforce record where you can edit the information and tap ‘Save’ to complete. Tap ‘Map’ to return to Sales Navigator.
Accessing Object Tasks and Notes
To access tasks you have with an object tap the task icon ( ) and to access object notes tap the notes icon ( ). Easily create notes or new tasks by tapping the (+) icon in the top right hand corner. Pull down the notes window to refresh notes from Salesforce.
