The trip feature in Sales Navigator for iOS helps you plan daily sales and service routes. View route information to help you make the most out of your time on the road by discovering when and where you have time to drop in on customer and prospects during the day. In this post, you will learn how to view and edit your trip information in Sales Navigator on the iPhone and iPad.
Viewing Trip Information
Start by opening the main Sales Navigator menu and tapping ‘ Trips’. Now you can view your daily trip with set calendar appointments and meeting tasks. In between each stop you will see your ETA, travel time and distance. If you are going to be late or there is an appointment conflict, this area will be shown in red.
Hide/Show Routes
Tap the route icon ( ) to hide/show routes. Tap ‘Show Route’ to show all or ‘Hide Route’ to hide all.
Directions
Tap the information icon ( ) to view directions. Tap the arrow ( ) to export to the mapping application of your choice for audible turn-by-turn directions.
Edit or Delete Trip Information
Tap the middle of any start/end points, appointments or meeting tasks to edit or delete them.
Edit Trip Order
Change the order of the stops in your trip by tapping ‘Edit’ in the top right hand corner of the trips menu. Then, tap and hold the three lines and arrange tasks as needed.*Appointments are fixed so you cannot move them.
Updating Trip Status
Appointments: as the appointment time approaches the appointment status changes from ‘Not Started’ to ‘Started’. If the appointment time passes the status is set to complete and an activity log is automatically generated.
Meeting Tasks: set a meeting task status by tapping the status flag. Setting a meeting task to ‘On Hold’ or ‘Complete’ remove the task from the trip window.
