There are two ways to add a new/personal contact that are covered in this post:
- By dropping a pin
- From the contacts menu
*Adding a contact into Sales Navigator places the contact in your device address book not into Salesforce.
By Dropping A Pin
Perhaps you dropped into a location that you may want to add to your contacts so you can easily manage or visit them in the future. Tap the “Current Location” icon ( ) in the lower right corner of the screen to jump to your location. Then, simply tap and hold on the blue blinking dot that indicates your location. You will then see several options of what you can do with your location. To add a contact, tap on the Contact icon ( ) on the left. You will see this screen populate with the location automatically filled in. Fill in the rest of the fields and then tap ‘Save’. The contact will now appear in Sales Navigator and on your device.
From the Contacts Menu:
Tap on Menu icon in the lower left hand corner. Tap on “List by Name” to see a complete list of your contacts. Tap on the Add Contact icon ( + ) in the upper right corner. Fill in all pertinent data and be sure to tap ‘Save’.
