Have you ever wanted to visualize the dollar amount of your opportunities on the map? In this post of our tips and tricks series, we will show you how you can easily map and visualize the dollar amount of your opportunities in Sales Navigator.

Mapping opportunities is helpful if you are trying to plan and prioritize daily sales routes or analyze geographically where the highest concentration of your most valuable opportunities are.


 

1. Creating and Importing the Opportunities:

The first thing you will want to do is create a spreadsheet of all of the dollar amounts of your opportunities under the ‘First Name’ column and then convert the spreadsheet into a CSV file.

Then you can import this spreadsheet into a group into Outlook, Gmail, iCloud or directly into your contacts application if you use a Mac.

Next, you will want to go into Sales Navigator and import the opportunities group by going to the App Settings window and tapping ‘Choose Groups to Sync’.


 

2. Visualizing the Opportunity Amounts

Now that you have imported your Opportunities group, the next thing you will want to do is change the pin to a name tag pin. This will display all the dollar amounts on the map.

Now you can visualize your opportunities on the map giving you more insight into determining your sales strategy and helping you plan and prioritize your sales trips.
